Eric accomplished that goal by completing the fashion challenge. Although Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) actually won the showdown, he is allowing Eric to believe he was the winner.

Now that Eric has proven himself professionally, what will he do personally?

Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) keeps trying to get Eric to travel or relax on the beach. That is understandable as that is probably what Donna would do if she was the one dying. However, every person is different and for Eric, he wants to go out his way.

For one thing, Thorne returns on Tuesday while Bridget won’t be seen until Thursday. It is teased that the two returning characters arrive for Eric’s gala.

Now, Eric thinks that most of his loved ones don’t know about the diagnosis. However, fans recall Ridge talking about how he was trying to get calls back from family members that live outside of Los Angeles.

So, perhaps Ridge will get some calls back in Monday’s episode. It is assume that Monday’s episode will feature Eric planning his final gala.
