The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) recently rejected Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) when she made one last plea to save their marriage. Since Liam refused to forgive Hope for kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in Rome, Thomas warned that Liam would eventually regret this.

Will Thomas’ bold declaration be proven right down the road? Will Liam indeed regret letting Hope go and pursuing Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) instead?

This feels awfully reminiscent of when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) ditched Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and went chasing after Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) in Aspen. Taylor was suddenly the woman Ridge wanted, but we all knew he’d crave Brooke again sooner or later.

Of course, this situation is a little different since Hope actually betrayed Liam, who doesn’t even know she’s sleeping with Thomas yet.

Even so, Thomas wasn’t wrong when he pointed out that Liam had cheated and made plenty of other mistakes in his marriage. Liam thought Steffy was having his baby at one point, so that says a lot about what Hope was willing to get past.

What happens if Liam’s pursuit of a Steffy reunion is a total flop? Steffy is certainly dealing with some issues in her relationship with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), but her love for him has never wavered.

Every time Liam tries to make a move on Steffy, she seems uncomfortable and distraught instead of turned on. There’s no sign of familiar “Steam” sparks anywhere except maybe inside Liam’s head.

That could change at some point, but let’s consider the possibility that Liam won’t get the Steffy reunion he’s dreaming of. Liam is used to having a backup love interest that he can turn to, but Hope may no longer be an option.

Hope has faced more than enough rejection at this point and could be ready to move full-speed ahead with Thomas soon.

Since Hope is already having sizzling sessions with Thomas behind closed doors, B&B spoilers say she may open her heart to him more and more in the coming weeks.

It’d be satisfying if Liam went back to Hope thinking he’d forgive her and they’d reunite – only to face a rejection of his own!

Will Liam find himself stuck all alone? It’d serve the waffler right after the way he’s treated Steffy and Hope over the years, so let’s hope Liam gets a miserable single era.
